This is the 11th consecutive year that Aussie Action Abroad will undertake construction projects in partnership with Architects without Frontiers
Aussie Action Abroad offers Architects, Architecture Students, design professionals or anyone who is proactive and willing to work the opportunity to travel, interact with and contribute to communities in need through community development projects.
Volunteers get to work ‘hands-on’ alongside architects, builders and related professionals and with local tradesmen to construct sustainable buildings and resources. This is a real opportunity to understand local needs, resources and the adaptation of materials to suit the project.
This year Aussie Action Abroad is offering the opportunity for volunteers to participate in post-earthquake reconstruction.
